Welcome to the second oldest jazz happening in Finland.
Tampere Film Festival celebrates its 40th anniversary in March 10th–14th, 2010. The most anticipated short film event in the spring-wintry town expects 30 000 visitors. In addition to the local audience, approximately 800 professional guests will be present at the festival. 140 of them are international guests.
Besides the actual short film program the festival bursts with related events and activities. On Saturday Yo-talo gathers friends of indie filmmaking to the Trash Film Festival 10th anniversary gala. Videotivoli, International Children and Youth Video festival, will be held for the 7th time. FestArt, a media art exhibition held in TR1 at Väinö Linna Square, will be opened already on February 14th, 2010.
A playful exhibition for everyone
Move and Play! is a fun exhibition intended for young and old alike. It will truly make you move. The exhibition will be on display at Heureka from 31 January 2009 until 28 March 2010.
The objective of the Move and Play! exhibition is to inspire people to discover the joy in moving and playing together. The exhibits are active, fun games. All visitors are guaranteed new active experiences that will enhance their joy of movement. The exhibits allow for all visitors to share in a common experience and benefit from the resulting insights. The ability to work together is necessary in many areas of life, including modern day science.
