The finalists of the world wide music contest have now been established

The message from a girl suffering from cancer is touching

The Best New Song in the World Contest has reached the stage when the finalists from 56 countries which entered are known. The votes cast in the preliminary rounds are valid for the duration of the contest. After Jamaica and Finland, at the moment in the third place is Japan with Slow Dance by Tokyo Fujiyama which is based on a touching poem written by a girl suffering from cancer. The message of the song addressed to the world is not lessened by the fact that the authenticity has been questioned in different contexts. At the end of January the number of songs will decrease to twelve based on public votes and at the end of February the winner will be determined. For further information www.thebestnewsong.com/.
